1. Scope
This specification covers the design, manufacturing, testing, supply, and performance requirements of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) Step Ladders suiable for industrial, electrical, and commercial applications.

ANSI A14.5 (Fiberglass Ladders)
OSHA Standards (as applicable)

Made from high-strength pultruded FRP sections
UV resistant, corrosion-resistant, and fire-retardant
Non-conductive (suitable for electrical work)

Made from anti-slip FRP or aluminum (optional heavy-duty type)
Serrated or grooved surface for slip resistance
